Blame the vape, not the THC
Recent news reports detail vapor pens and the health damage some may cause humans. Users of certain pens have been admitted to the hospital with popcorn lung, respiratory ailments and worse. Some people have died.
Living in a Post-Revolution Michigan
The revolution is over… long live the revolution!
Michigan citizens fought a long war against unjust cannabis laws in which many battles were fought in many places. Although cannabis has been liberated- mostly- the scars of the revolution still remain on those who experienced it. Now that the war against bad rules has been won we can focus on the most important battle of all: ending conflict among ourselves.
Be Careful What You Wish For
On November 22 the Michigan Marijuana Regulatory Agency issued a freeze on sales of all THC-containing vape pens in provisioning centers statewide. The move comes after scientists have identified a liquid cartridge additive as a potential source of illness and death among adult and youth users of vape pens.
A Decade To Remember
2019 was the last year of a decade which was perhaps the most monumental in the history of cannabis in America. Medical and legal cannabis programs spread across the United States. The federal government began talking about cannabis in a positive way. Hemp freedoms were restored, sort of. Other nations launched cannabis programs of their own. We forever changed the course of history by re-legalizing the cannabis plant in many places, in many ways.
Cannabis Retailers: Diversify or Die
Prior to the passage of the bill package which created the Michigan Marihuana Facilities Licensing Act (MMFLA) in 2016, one of the community’s main concerns about the commercial cannabis market for medicinal users was the lack of diversity in product selection. If licensed retailers in the regulated market want to recruit consumers into their stores, they need to keep niche medicinal cannabis products on the shelf.
