Ten days ago we celebrated a Hash Bash in a first-ever format- a digital Bash with participants joining in from their homes via Skype.
The coronavirus crisis has changed activities all across the planet. Hash Bash and the Monroe Street Fair are a pair of annual gatherings which regularly draw 8,000 people to the U of M campus and the streets of Ann Arbor on the first Saturday in April. To combat the spread of the virus gatherings are disallowed, by order of the governor and campus police.
Enterprising Bash organizers created the digital Hash Bash broadcast via Planet Green Trees TV and shown to the masses on Facebook Live. Originally projected to go five hours, it evolved into five hours of interviews and five additional hours of music.
That’s a lot of video to surf! To save you time, The Social Revolution.org has cut out the interviews and turned them into individual YouTube videos. Each is 5-10 minutes long.
On the one week anniversary of the digital broadcast TSR dropped a new video onto Facebook every fifteen minutes from 10am until 12:30. The same will happen on April 18, starting at 10am and going until well past noon.
For those who missed the parade of videos on April 11, here’s a list of those videos with links to their YouTube page.
The 2020 Digital Hash Bash broadcast featured host Jamie Lowell with co-hosts Rick Thompson, Michael Komorn, Debra Young, Amanda Joslin, Jim Powers and Adam Brook. The broadcast was via Planet Green Trees TV and was produced by Hyped Up Live Sessions. View the original broadcast at: https://www.facebook.com/PlanetGreenT…
