As the principal in the lobbying firm of Dunaskiss Consulting and Development, Justin Dunaskiss has been employed by some of the state’s most recognizable figures in the cannabis community. He was intimately involved during the evolution of the Medical Marihuana Facilities Licensing Act and is a most authoritative historian on the legislative wrangling involved in its passage. His continued presence in Lansing makes him a powerful voice in the halls of the Capitol Building. Beyond that role, Dunaskiss has recently been involved in the creation of and petitioning drive for a new ordinance in the city of Detroit, one which would make some corrections to the current regulations regarding medical marijuana distribution centers. That dive submitted petitions to the city in July of 2017 and just recently were informed that they had filed a sufficient amount of signatures to place the issue before the voters in November of 2017. Dunaskiss is a sought-after speaker and consultant with an active staff and a range of experiences.
